Christopher James Both was born on March 25th, 1992 to James & Kathleen Both. He has been active in his community for many years. In 2007, he was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop #188 (Watseka). After his time as a member of the Boy Scouts was over he became a Merit Badge Counselor for Prairielands Council. He graduated from Watseka Community High School in 2010 where he was the President of NHS, Key Club, and Media Club. He holds an Associate Degree in Psychology from KCC (2012) and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Franklin University (2013). In 2013, he began working as a Loan Officer at Iroquois Federal Savings & Loan Association in Watseka, IL. He was raised on October 11th, 2010 as a member of Watseka Lodge #446 of which he is a Past Worshipful Master (2013 & 2015). He currently serves the Grand Lodge of Illinois as a District Education Officer. He also became a member of the Valley of Danville AASR where he became the Most Wise Master of the George E Burow Chapter of Rose Croix in 2015. He is a past Treasurer of the Watseka Park District, past President of Food From the Heart, and past volunteer at the Watseka Food Pantry. He is the current President of the Kiwanis Club of Watseka. He is also a member of Royal Chapter OES, Iroquois County Genealogical & Historical Society’s. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family (especially the dog!) and researching his family’s genealogy.
