Kailei Jo Harms was born on April 13th, 1993 to Jerrold & Shellie Harms. She also has one younger sister, Tailor, one younger brother, Isaac, and one older half-sister, Olivia. Growing up she was an avid soccer player, playing for County West soccer teams. She graduated from Herscher High School in 2011 where she continued to play soccer. In 2011, her soccer team finished 2nd in the State of Illinois IHSA tournament. She was also active in the National Honor Society and Best Buddies programs while at Herscher High School. She holds an Associates Degree from Kankakee Community College (2013) and a Bachelors Degree from Eastern Illinois University (2016). She works for The ARC of Iroquois County in Watseka and for Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. She is a member and Secretary of the Slow Boys Tractor & Engine Club. She has also volunteered with the Watseka Park District, Kiwanis Club of Watseka, Watseka Lodge #446, Watseka Food Pantry, and Food From the Heart. In her spare time she likes to spend time outdoors and work on her 1941 John Deere H tractor.
